Lacrosse – a sport that when done right, it fast, violent and supremely athletic. Brine makes the best gear for the field, whether it's sticks, helmets, shoes or gloves, no player is without it. But as the field of competitor in the market grows, so the champion must defend their turf.

Off the field is just as fun.
Working with our photographer (who by the way, has no fear: embedded in the Marines during the invasion of Iraq, photographed Obama for his presidential portrait), we go up close and personal with or pros and NCAA players. Whether witnessing on the field acrobatics during a lightning storm, or pre-game team dance-offs, lacrosse culture is a strange, intense beast.
Men, women... They both dominate the field.
Working with the pros and NCAA teams is a blast when everything's going according to plan. When you have to shoot in the rain, in lightning, after the last set of shuttle runs, that's when you see the character of the teams. We spent days with the pros and college athletes, seeing them at their best and less than best, to document what really makes a successful athlete.
