At 65, seniors are eligible for Medicare: healthcare insurance and access at reduced rates. But Medicare only covers the bare minimum. That's where Medicare Advantage comes in. As an optional upgrade to basic Medicare, it provides access to a greater number of doctors, clinics and prescription drugs, allowing seniors to maintain their long-time physicians and their active way of life.

Campaign direction.

Understanding that the "golden years" are no longer a slow ride into the sunset, we created a campaign that presented seniors in a realistic way, continuing to enjoy a life well lived.

All seniors are not the same.

Truth be told, most Medicare advertising is poorly done. Much of that stems from painting the entire Medicare market with the same brush: old. In our research and strategic sessions, we determined that there was a vast difference between age-ins (65) and long-time Medicare Advantage customers that might want to switch plans. The difference between the two audiences might span ten or even twenty years, where the younger segment are heavy digital users while the older audience prefers more traditional communication.

Numbers don't lie.

Through the thoughtful application of digital media and phased messaging, we were able to see an increase in engagement and ultimately enrollments: from 458 enrollments the previous year, jumping up to over 6000 enrollments.
